Fischer’s Landing History
St. Maries waterfront at the Boardwalk in 1918.
The boardwalk, which went from First Street to Milltown, was built by Joseph Fischer, founder of St. Maries.
The boardwalk used to border the river. It was a gathering place for all people to shop and eat. This is the vision of recreating a commerce space in St. Maries fit for gathering the community with shops and spaces.
